ALOTEK Contact Protection Technology

Fireproof, and efficient operation of electrical contact elements based on the use of shape memory materials. ALOTEK Сontact Protection Technology components

  • Intermetallic thermal indicators - for continuous monitoring of the temperature regime of the contact connection (24x7), in case of overheating, this fact is recorded
  • Intermetallic stabilizers - for automatic control and regulation of contact pressure, connection protection from overheating and thermal destruction
  • Composite grease based on Camital alloy powder - automatically destroys oxide films and slows down the aging process of contact elements during the operation of electrical installations

Camital alloy

Functional intermetallic compound that is a part of materials with shape memory and superelasticity effects. The unique properties determines Camital's belonging to smart materials and the high relevance of their study and application in various fields. There is a combination of properties in this group of materials that is usually inherent in several materials or devices. Elements based on these materials combine the functions of temperature sensors and actuators at the same time.

 

Camital alloy elements develop reactive forces of hundreds of MPa. By converting three types of energy (electrical, thermal, mechanical), in a certain temperature range, Camital acts as a working fluid and an organ at the same time and is the simplest "transformer" of thermal energy into mechanical energy
